Tovey L. Goynes has over 20 years of experience in training for criminal correctional facilities, crime and loss prevention, investigations, and premises liability; including detention management, emergency response tactics, subject control and verbal control techniques, SWAT tactics, Omaha Police and Nebraska State Patrol tactical techniques. He has conducted training in defensive tactics, conflict resolution and negotiations, emergency response, Alcor-Sensor, Mandt System, Pressure Point Control Tactics (PPCT), Firearms Certified Instructor, and MP5/5MG firearms. He also provided training for pre-service orientation for newly hired correctional officers, as well as, in-service training for officer recertification, and he has received certification in interview and interrogation tactics.
Tovey has experience providing protection and training for personnel in several environments including, grocery stores, department stores, nightclubs, bars, sports stadiums, civic centers, parking lots, public parks, and city functions. His experience also includes personal protection of individuals within the National Football League (NFL), the music entertainment industry, and government dignitaries in high risk environments.
Tovey has a B.S. in Psychology, and has absorbed hundreds of hours of experience in specialized security, law enforcement, and loss prevention training. He has earned a solid reputation for conceiving solutions that are practical, reasonable, and effective because of having been there and knowing that security training must interface with the asset protected.
